As a natural leader, collaborator, and mentor, Andrew Meltzer guides his beverage team with an inclusive approach and high standards for attentive service. “The management team is made of passionate hospitality professionals. We’re here to make sure each guest has what they need to ensure that they leave with an unparalleled experience,” he explains. “We’re careful to select only a handful of spirits and modifiers, making sure that they look good, taste good, are responsibly made.”
The Boston native moved to San Francisco in 2012. With the goal of developing a career in food and beverage, Meltzer accepted a position as bar manager at the acclaimed bar 15 Romolo and joined the United States Bartender’s Guild (USBG). After several years of competition, Meltzer won the USBG’s “World Class U.S. Bartender of the Year” in 2016 and also gained honors as a two-time first place food-pairing champion in 2015 and 2016. Meltzer has served as Vice President and President of the USBG’s San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, allowing him to educate hundreds of bartenders developing their personal artistic and technical skills. In the coming year, Andrew is continuing with the organization as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
“All of these studies and experiences have been bound by my love for human connection and the opportunity to take care of people,” he states. “Laura and Sayat share these same passions for community and service. It’s a natural fit for me to join their team.”
